Jane Goodall Institute
What: Website forms automation
When: 2017
The Jane Goodall Institute is committed to the sustainable protection of chimpanzees and their habitats. Automation was necessary within the existing website in order to reduce labour and prevent errors. After an initial meeting with the project manager and ICT4Free volunteers, a fully automated forms system, which communicates with various systems, was developed within a few months in collaboration with Paul de Jong, the system developer. The cooperation in those months, via face to face meetings and online sessions, was very pleasant, and improvements were continuously sought quickly and professionally. The Jane Goodall Institute Netherlands now has an automated website back office, mainly due to the efforts and creative solutions of the system developer. The working hours that this saves can be used to do what we stand for; to protect chimpanzees and their habitats. The Jane Goodall Institute found the entire collaboration very pleasant and informative, which is why the Jane Goodall Institute is extremely grateful to ICT4Free and especially Paul de Jong.
